Local Resident, Chef Lisa Prather, supports meal distributions at Gulfport Elementary School
Chef Lisa Prather, Owner of A Fresh Connection, City of Gulfport Mayor Emeritus, Michael J. Yakes, The Gulfport Police Department, Pinellas County Schools & Gulfport Elementary, have teamed up and provided 100 additional prepared meals to be distribute to children and families in need at Gulfport Elementary School.
Inspired by local Gulfport Resident Chef Lisa Prather as "Feeding Our Future Leaders!" A Fresh Connection donated a 200 extra meals to help the children and families in need during this pandemic. All meals followed the schools health and nutrition guidance.
'As a resident of Gulfport of 10 years and local Caterer and owner of, "A Fresh Connection Catering, Cafe and Bakery," my entire staff felt compelled to do something to help and give back to our community. "Feed our Future Leaders" a fundraiser to help our local elementary schools. We were able to provide over 200
wholesome and fresh bagged lunches at the Gulfport Elementary on Wednesday, April, 29th and we expect to be able to provide 100-200 more over the next couple of weeks."
